We are a renowned Gas Cylinder Vertical Quad or Cascade manufacturer in India. Gas cylinder quads are also called as gas cylinder Pallets or gas cylinder Banks in some countries. Quads or Cascades are used where high volume of gas is required to be feed at a regular flow rate and pressure without an interruption. In this kind of applications or industries the usage of conventional gas cylinders on one at a time basis, becomes highly undesirable because of time wasted in cylinder changeover, cylinder handling, gas wastage etc. Also as regular gas is need to be feed as per process requirement, use of single cylinder becomes non feasible due to its low gas storage volume constraint. For these kinds of applications, Gas Cylinder Quads or Cascade or Pallets or Banks are used.We also manufacture gas cylinder Racks or Cage used to store and transports the cylinders in bunch. Basic difference between Quads and Racks is that, in quads all the cylinder’s outlets are interconnected to one another using manifold so that they can be used as a whole simultaneously. In Quads all the cylinders can be filled and can be emptied using single outlet only. Where as in gas cylinder racks, cylinder outlets are not connected. Racks are used just for the safe storage or transport of separate cylinders in a bunch or cage. Quads are specially made bunch of cylinders, all interconnected, filled or discharged together and loaded or unloaded as a bunch. Axcel Gases is a manufactures of gas cylinder quads or cascades as per specific process requirement. The cage or outer frame for this kind of arrangement is made up of Alloy Steel securing the cylinders at their respective place and having arrangements for fork lift at the bottom or lifting hook at the top for over head crane for loading unloading or in house movement purpose. As the Cylinders are secured tightly, outlets of these are interconnected using manifold and high pressure Teflon hoses or copper tubes or stainless tubes.The quads or cascade are custom built as per specific needs and requirements. High pressure Seamless cylinders are required for the purpose of Filling, Storage and Transport of various gases. These are special types of carbon alloy steel cylinders shells and the alloy composition depends upon the pressure rating and water volume of the respective cylinders. For low volume and low pressure(Upto 150Kg/Cm2), Manganese Alloy steel is used. For high volume and high pressure(More than 150Kg/Cm2), Chrome Molybdenum alloy steel is used. All the high pressure seamless cylinders are manufactured as per Indian standards IS: 7285 – Part 1 & part 2 and are equipped with cylinder filling permissions issued by CCOE – Nagpur ( Chief Controller Of Explosives – Nagpur, a Department under Central Govt. Ministry of India).

Product Details:

We are offering 12 Cylinder Horizontal Cascades to our clients. There can be various sizes or arrangements in which a quad or cascade can be supplied depending upon pressure and volume of a gas requirement of a particular industry or its consumption pattern. This will further govern as how many cylinders of what pressure rating is required to be fitted in a most cost effective way. The final tare weight and gas volume of the complete quad depends upon the number of cylinders, cylinder pressure rating and their respective water capacity.
